University of Veterinary & Pharmaceutical Sciences, Brno : Veterinary Studies 6 year programme

The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (FVM) and Faculty of Veterinary Hygiene and Ecology (FVHE) at the University of Veterinary and Pharmaceutical Brno each offer a 6 year (12 semesters) Master’s programme taught exclusively in English. Both these master’s programmes are intended for High school graduates who fulfill the minimum requirements and are limited to foreign candidates per year. Graduates of FVM & FVHE receive a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from this accredited University. The main difference between the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (FVM) and the Faculty of Veterinary Hygiene and Ecology (FVHE) is that graduates from FVHE acquire more extended knowledge in the field of farm animal veterinary medicine as well as in public health protection. From start to finish, the University gives graduates the necessary experience to enter the veterinary profession with confidence.
