Scion Trust: An exclusive rural African experience while serving communities in Kenya
Kenya is well-known for its incredible wildlife parks and Safaris; there is so much more to this wonderful country. We have over 42 tribal groups with different languages - with English and Swahili being national languages. Our volunteer projects, locations and settings are varied within these communities. For a more rural experience, you can live and volunteer with the pastoralist Maasai families in the Rift Valley; the highland farmers in the sloppy ridges of Mt Kenya or the savannahs of Tharaka or Kitui, some of the most amazing rural areas we need volunteers with different skills. As a volunteer you will be an important resource we need to work together for the betterment of needy communities that we seek to transform.
